Closed Species Info

If you adopt one of my Closed Species, you’re not required to follow the lore—feel free to use them however you’d like! This is just for those who are curious about the details. I’ll be updating and refining this as I go, but everything listed below is pretty much set in stone

Behemoth

Culture / Habitats

  • The Behemoth world is set in a fantasy realm with a mix of magic and a touch of technology.

  • Behemoths are an intelligent species, typically living in civilized communities, though some groups prefer isolation in secluded areas.

  • They are adaptable and can thrive in a variety of environments. Evolutionary traits often influence their appearance: for example, Behemoths from the northern tundra are more fluffy, while desert-dwelling Behemoths are spikier and less fluffy. I’ll share images of different sub-species as I gather more examples!

  • Traditions are highly valued, and they often engage in events like sacred hunts or warrior brawls—these can take place within their tribes or at large yearly gatherings with others.

  • Gender equality is central to their society—females are on equal footing with males, and no events are exclusive to one gender. The ladies certainly hold their own!

  • Shamans play an important role in their culture, guiding spiritual practices and traditions.

  • Behemoths and Rhazu were once the same species, but after their God split in two, they each took on traits reflecting the nature of the split.

  • While Behemoths and Rhazu are not hostile, they aren’t particularly fond of each other either.

  • Most Behemoth tribes are peaceful, though some are more aggressive and restrict outsiders from entering.

  • Behemoths are known for their exceptional tea-making skills. Traders often travel from afar to purchase batches of tea from the tribe’s top tea blenders.

Physical Traits

Height: Males 8-9' | Females 8-10.5'
Weight: Males ~1000 lbs | Females ~700 lbs
Life Span: ~150-200 years

Other Info

  • Behemoths are omnivores, and when they hunt, they honor the animal by using every part. They deeply respect the life they take for sustenance.

  • They have a deep love for fruit, often treating it like a treasured treat. There are even stories of merchants trading rare, prized fruits for valuable items.

  • Behemoths are egg layers, typically laying only one egg at a time, rather than giving live birth.

  • At their core, Behemoths are warriors with a strong sense of justice, always standing up for what they believe is right
